A military adaption of the AR-15, the Colt M-16 is an assault rifle chambered for the 5.56x45mm NATO round. It first appears in Madness Combat 2: Redeemer in the hands of Tricky with a grenade launcher attachment. It reappears in Madness Combat 3: Avenger, used by a grunt to fire at Hank with its grenade launcher. It is seen again in Madness Combat 4: Apotheosis, but without a grenade launcher this time. In Madness Combat 6: Antipathy, the M-16 has a scope and fires 3-round bursts. Hank uses one to clear out an entire carriage of 1337 agents. It was Deimos' starting weapon in ROMP.FLA, where he used it to kill several A.A.H.W. units and mustached characters.
In Madness Interactive, it only fires single, semi-automatic shots. This gun is also seen in Incident: 100A for a short time, where a paintball masked agent holds it. The agent waits for the protagonists to appear, but he gets stunned by a flashbang and gets killed by Deimos with a grenade launcher that was attached to an AR-15. In Madness: Project Nexus, it is the fastest-firing rifle in the game, as well is one of the four weapons with the fastest fire rate, along with the M-11, Steyr TMP, and Minebea PM-9.
